VMFA League Postponed

Veterans Malta Football Association (VMFA) tħabbar li l-kampjonat u l-kompetizzjonijiet l-oħra tagħha għal dan l-istaġun se jiġu posposti b’mod indefinit.

L-Assoċċjazzjoni qed tagħmel dan b’responsabilità u fid-dawl tas-sitwazzjoni preżenti marbuta mal-pandemija tal-Covid19.

L-Assocċċjazzjoni qed tagħmel dan ukoll wara diskussjoni interna u mad-delegati tal-clubs.

Minkejja l-protokoll li permezz tiegħu jista’ jintlagħab il-logħob, il-VMFA jidhrilha li għandha tpoġġi is-saħħa tal-players u l-familji tagħhom qabel kollox. L-Assoċċjazzjoni trid tagħmel il-parti tagħha fil-ġlieda kontra din il-marda billi ma torganizzax attivitajiet fejn jiltaqgħu in-nies li jkunu viċin xulxin u f’kuntatt bejniethom.

L-Assoċċjazzjoni tifhem li hemm antiċipazzjoni għar-ritorn għal-logħob u li setgħet tibda l-logħob billi ssegwi l-protokoll. Iżda l-VMFA temmen li l-aktar għażla għaqlija hija posponiment tal-attivitajiet kollha biex hekk tkun salvagwardjata is-saħħa ta’ kulħadd, u fl-istess ħin tagħti eżempju u tgħin fl-isforz nazzjonali kontra l-imxija.

L-Assoċċjazzjoni qed tagħmel dan ukoll b’rispett lejn it-tobba, nurses u dawk kollha li jaħdmu fil-qasam tas-saħħa, u tħoss li hekk tkun qed tagħmel il-parti tagħha biex ma tiżdiedx il-pressjoni fuq dawn il-frontliners eroj.

Aġġornamenti fuq is-sitwazzjoni jistgħu jiġu segwiti fuq il-website u l-paġna ta’ Facebook tal-Veterans Malta Football Association www.maltaveterans.com
