In this week’s games, we saw how Gozo Glory are re-confirming their home run wins as they overtook Balzan Veterans at the Nadur Football Ground. The game was a close encounter in the first part of the game, but in the second half, Gozo showed their home strength and managed to score eight goals.

We had two exciting matches at Attard Football Ground where Valletta Lions re-transformed their formation to beat favourites Zejtun Red Stars. We saw Zejtun taking an early two-goal lead, but Valletta remained composed to come level in the first half. Valletta continued to show progress and managed to win the game by two goals.
The last match of the night was a high expected fixture from Group B between Luxol St. Andrews and Wardija FC, with the latter winning the game at the dying minutes by two goals. The game was a balanced match between the two were, Luxol took the lead by Brian Said, but Wardija managed to turn the game by Riccardo Severino and Stephen Wellman. In the second half, Luxol levelled by an early goal. Wardija kept calm and control of the ball until they managed to score three goals. Although Wardija seemed to have won the game, Luxol continued to pressure and managed to reduce the gap by one goal. Before the end of the game Wardija managed to score another goal to win the game by a two-goal margin
