Two national veteran teams will be playing friendly matches against Claygate Royal Vets FC at the Mġarr stadium.

Coach Joe Micallef has selected two over-40 and over-50 squads as there will be two matches for the different categories.

The Maltese over-40 squad is made up of Matthew Camilleri, Ivan Cassar, Jonathan Pearson, Andre Scicluna, Pio Schiriha, Steven Bonnici, Dino Cachia, Christian Cassar, Manolito Micallef, Beppe Antignolo, Beppe Muscat, George Frendo, Glenn Bonello, Adam Smeir, Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza, Ian Zammit and Kevin Vella.

On the other hand, the over 50 category has 15 players selected and these are Clint Camilleri, Brian Said, Jeffrey Chetcuti, Mark Micallef, Mario Caruana, Mario Camilleri, Kevin Loughborough, Carmel Formosa, Eric Saliba, Colin Ciantar, Michael Degiorgio, Marco Sultana, Brian Axisa, David Camilleri and Franco Degabriele.

The first game will start at 5pm where the latter will be involved so that at 6.30pm the over 40 team will enter the action.
