MFPA strengthened their position at the top of the Malta Veterans Premier League standings after defeating Luxol St Andrew’s 13–5.
The Malta Football Players Association side delivered a strong performance throughout the match, while their opponents were somewhat affected by the absence of a number of players.

Alexander Ribic stood out for MFPA after scoring seven goals, while Stanimir Miloskovic added four more. Jonathan Bondin and Emanuel Sevasta also got on the scoresheet for the winning side.
Luxol St Andrew’s goals came through a hat-trick by Dylan Musu and two goals by Karl Sacco.
The referee for the match was Jonathan Balzan.
Meanwhile, Rabat Veterans earned their first three points of the season following an 8–4 victory over reigning champions Gżira United.
The Rabat side showed great determination to get something from the match, with Gżira appearing somewhat unsettled by their opponents’ quick attacking play.

Andy Mangion scored a hat-trick for Rabat, while Adam Wingfield and Adam Smeir each netted twice. Pio Schiriha also scored an own goal.
For Gżira United, Sebastian Nayar scored two goals, with Kevin Sammut and Ian Zammit adding to the scoreline.
The referee was Jonathan Balzan.
