Hibernians and Floriana have both secured their places in the final of the BOV Veterans Malta FA Trophy after winning their respective semi-final matches
Floriana 9-4 Gżira United
The reigning champions Floriana defeated Gżira United 9-4. Brazilian forward Diego Fernando Pereira starred for the winners, scoring four goals, while Firas Aboulezz added a brace. Donovan Friggieri, Ryan Darmanin, and Manolito Micallef also contributed to the scoreline.
For Gżira, Zvezdan Vukovic scored twice, with additional goals from Kurt Magro, Adrian Lanzon, Raymond Sciberras, and Ian Zammit.

Hibernians 4-3 Rabat Ajax
The second semi-final was more closely contested, with Hibernians edging Rabat Ajax 4-3. The game could have gone either way, but ultimately the Paolites claimed the victory.
Goals for Hibernians came from Dylan Mercieca, Johnny Camilleri, Steven Bonnici, and Daniel Fodermayer, while Rabat replied through Daniel Cremona, Andre Scicluna, and Andy Mangion.

The final between Floriana and Hibernians will take place next Wednesday at the St Dorothy’s Grounds in Ħaż-Żebbuġ, kicking off at 7:30pm.
