The VMFA Cisk Premier League second round started this week with the main teams winning their respective encounters.
Floriana – Zejtun Red Stars 9-3.
VMFA Cisk Premier League leaders Floriana maintained their consistency as they beat Żejtun Red Stars 9-3.
Manolito Micallef, Glenn Bonello, Christian Cassar and Gilbert Scerri scored a double each with Andy Portelli also adding his name among the scorers.
Żejtun reduced the scoring margin through goals from Renjos Farrugia, Chris Farrugia and Charlo Magro.

Gzira United – Hibernians 10-3
Gzira United, who are second in the table, dominated the match against Hibernians so much that they won 10-3.
Kevin Sammut scored a hat-trick while Ian Zammit and Rio Micallef were authors of a double each. Sebastian Nayar, Justin Grioli and Daniel Mariano Bueno added more goals for the Maroons.
Beppe Antignolo scored twice for Hibernians.
Birkirkara St Helen’s – Żurrieq Wolves 4-1
Birkirkara St Helen’s got their fifth win of the season after a score of 4-1 against Żurrieq Wolves.
Firaz Aboulezz scored a double for the Stripes while Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza and Aryton Buhagiar combined the four goals for their team.
Mario Camilleri scored the only goal for Żurrieq.

MFPA – Rabat Veterans 6-6
In an exciting encounter, the MFPA champions were held to a 6-6 draw by Rabat Veterans.
Adam Smeir maintained his goal-scoring spree when he scored three goals while Timothy Zammit, Gilbert Camilleri Lowell and an own goal by the goalkeeper Reuben Gauci added more goals for the Magpies.
For Malta Football Players Association there was a hat-trick by Aleksandar Ribic while George Frendo, Michael Galea and Mark Barbara combined the six for their team.
