Floriana climbed to second place in the standings after defeating Birkirkara St Helen’s 10–6. As the scoreline suggests, it was an open and fast-paced encounter with plenty of goals, with the Greens ultimately coming out on top.
Bojan Kaljevic continued his fine form by scoring four goals, while Diego Fernando Pereira added a hat-trick. Gilbert Scerri netted twice and Dylan Grima also found the back of the net for the Floriana veterans.
Birkirkara remained competitive throughout the match thanks to a hat-trick from Federico Marine, as well as goals by Herbert Spiteri, Jonathan Xerri and Daniel Scerri.

Hibernians secured their third win of the season with a 6–3 victory over Żurrieq Wolves. This result lifted the Paolites to ten points in the standings, level with Gżira United.
Daniel Fodermayer scored a hat-trick for the Paola-based side, Luke Satariano struck twice, and Ilia Nazarov added another goal.
Żurrieq’s goals came from Kevin Vella, Alex Muscat and Mario Camilleri.

Meanwhile, the fixtures between Rabat and Gżira, and MFPA against Luxol, were postponed due to the adverse weather conditions that affected the Maltese islands earlier this week.
