Match Day 13 of the VMFA Cisk Premier League will be an intensive one with Luxol and Hibernians searching to find a place in the championship pool as they cross swords in the most expected match of the week.

Luxol are on the 17-point mark with the Paolites one point behind them. The latter need none other than a win to find a place with the top four while the St Andrew’s side need only a point to secure their status.

Both sides possess some good quality players that can decide the match. An interesting duel will be expected between their respective top scorers Michael Galea for Luxol and Ilia Nazarov for Hibernians.

Gżira United want to maintain their winning trend as they face Rabat Veterans in another interesting match. The Maroons didn’t have a good start of 2024 but in their last outings, they managed to gain ground as they are now only four points away from leaders MFPA.

On their part, Rabat are not having a consistent season as sometimes they have some good performances coupled by some disappointing outings.

Birkirkara St Helen’s know their destiny in the final part of the season as they will participate in the top four phase. They meet Żurrieq Wolves who have only grabbed three points from 12 matches. They know that their mission is not going to be easy against an in-form Birkirkara side.
